How many feelings would I hurt here if I said the Falcon would never make it out of an Earthlike atmosphere? Or that TIEs probably wouldn’t hold up to the torque generated by their tight flying patterns? Or that the Death Star would be impossible to construct and power?
Let’s throw technical criticisms like these out the window. Star Wars has only ever been medieval fantasy with a sci fi veneer. Save those critiques for Star Trek, which actually strives to be relatively hard sci fi.
