I think what usually confuses people about my list is the seeming inconsistency of the ranking, like having From Russia with Love at number 1 and then putting The World Is Not Enough ahead of Goldfinger. My list revolves around nostalgia a lot, which is why Octopussy is ahead of what many would say are superior films like Thunderball. I will say that I really don’t understand the disdain for the World Is Not Enough. I know it isn’t great but I think it’s a well executed action movie; perhaps convoluted but I wouldn’t say it’s any more convoluted than Spectre.
