The file should be about 20-25GB. The only way to retain the high quality that an HD encode can give (that you said you wanted) is to give the file a high enough bit-rate to make it happen. Also, Despecialized is going to be pretty close to the same file size, if not slightly smaller (16-20GB). I think revisited is only 480p, designed for a DVD, hence having such a small file size. You could also torrent if you can use that method, to help with the long waiting.
Ah yes, I have discovered since I asked this why the file is so large. I don’t actually need that. Although HD is nice, I thought the quality of Revisited was perfectly fine. What I mean by wanting higher quality is that I want something that has had colors fixed, special effects improved, mistakes corrected, etc so that it looks better in those ways.
I have now learned of another RotJ edit which sounds close to what I want, this one being by Q2. I have not yet been able to find it anywhere though (except for through GetNZB which requires me to pay before I can download the whole thing, and I don’t want to give my credit card info to them because I am not familiar with them and they don’t take PayPal). Does anyone know where I can download Q2’s RotJ edit?
P.S. Sorry for the double post, don’t know how to delete the first one.
