Yeah that has been edited if the woman bit is left out. I remember because the first VHS tape I ever owned as a kid was a tape of public domain cartoons that contained one Mickey Mouse cartoon(I wasn’t aware Disney ever let those lapse)and it ended with that exact short and it was the first time I was Superman in anything and I watched it to death and the woman part was there in the public domain print I saw. So if the version of the short you have doesn’t have that part of the line in it then it had been edited.
