Yes, whether in SD or HD, CBS is only “releasing” it’s “remastered” Star Trek to be shown – and I just confirmed this with a ME-TV episode (“remastered”!) compared to TrekCore's “vintage” DVD screencaps.
I’m really interested in the first hand-full of remastered episodes with CG effects test-rendered in 16:9 widescreen (for foreign [Japan] markets).

Apparently, those were “mistakenly” released (through iTunes & Xbox Live) and quickly removed.
