The question about you having a blu-ray drive should have probably said blu-ray player (like for your TV) instead. The whole point of the posts was to get a drive that works for a blu-ray player. I assume you do if you’re asking about a burner.
As far as burners go, if you wanted to do that, I got an external Samsung one for about $70 (at the time) that works great.
And as far as DVDs go, it depends what you mean. The AVCHD format is essentially the blu-ray format, but small enough to fit on a DVD-DL. So you burn it to DVD-DL and play on a blu-ray player. All Despecialized have come out in this format. RoTJ 1.0 is available this way and actually not as an MKV at all.
If you meant DVD format that plays in a DVD player (so, non-HD), Harmy’s versions are also available that way, but might be harder to find. There is at least one very poorly rendered version of his RoTJ out there in this format, but there should be a good one out there too.
