I’ve been lurking on this thread for a while and I finally had to post. I just finished watching the latest versions of both Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back and was blown away. Harmy, and the community, thank you so much for undertaking this process.

Because of my age, I was not fortunate enough to be able to see the movies upon their original release. However, I was fortunate enough to see the original unaltered movies on VHS as a child. Ever since those first viewings I have been in love with the series. Even the imperfections of the originals, the black and white R2D2 or the slightly pink lightsaber of Vader, bring a smile to my face. Thank You!

I do have two questions.

The first is that I noticed while watching Star Wars that C3P0’s line when describing the detention chamber is missing. I appreciate this because I am aware that most Cinema showings were also missing the line. However, I was wondering which, if any, of the audio tracks have it. I know the original mono track did but I would prefer a stereo one with its inclusion. If not obviously not a big deal.

Also, this next question might be controversial. I, like I am sure many on here, am not a big fan of the prequels. However, I was wondering if there was an undertaking to release those Despecialized as well. The home releases are much less altered than the originals, but there are differences; such as changed camera wipes, extended pod racing etc. Just wondering if you or anyone was planning on doing something like this.

Thanks again Harmy. Love what you’ve done and await the new release of Return of the Jedi and future releases. May the Force be with you, always.
