It’s so great that you’re doing this. I had no idea until recently that the Star Wars movies I had always watched were drastically different from the theatrical releases. After just recently watching them before going to see TFA, my dad was telling me that in the theaters, ANH didn’t originally have an episode title in the crawl because it was just called Star Wars. I started looking online to see if I could find the original version and quickly learned of all of George Lucas’s changes over the years and his refusal to release the theatrical versions in a high quality format. Suddenly all the strange things I noticed while watching the movies made sense such as that weird dinosaur walking across the screen in ANH, or Anakin’s head replaced in RoTJ. I came across this project and was amazed to see the amount of people that really care about this. I bought the blue rays just so that I could download these versions and enjoy the OT as it was meant to be watched. To Harmy and all the other people involved in this project, thank you for doing this and putting in what I can only imagine must be thousands and thousands of hours of your time.
