Why is Han so confident that the Empire can’t track the Falcon?
Leia: “They’re tracking us.”
Han: “Not this ship sister!”
All they would have to do is slap some kind of tracker on the side of it, what kind of defense does he think the ship has against that?
Could be just his cocky and confident nature. He doesn’t want to admit, especially in front of this princess, that his ship can’t shake off a tracker. The only time he showed doubt that the Falcon is invincible is when the Tie Fighters come to attack it. Leia expresses that the Falcon may not hold together, Han immediately responds that it will to Leia, but to himself says something along the lines, “Please hold together baby” with an almost unsure tone.
