I saw it first in IMAX 3D. I’m usually not a fan of 3D but this movie was done really well and didn’t jar or take me out of the movie at all (maybe because there were no pointless ‘stuff flying at your face’ moments).

The only time I noticed anything weird was in the resistance base exterior shots - Leia’s face looked a bit blurry at times. But others have suggested they may have done some de-aging work on her face in post so maybe that’s what that was?

2nd time I saw it in 2D and didn’t miss the 3D. So I guess both experiences get a thumbs up from me.
