Has anyone ever been to the arcades at the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach? The charge really high amounts for even the simplest game. It costs 75 cents per credit to play the Nascar racers from like 1994 for example(when it takes at least 2 credits to start the game).

I hate it when people hog the machines at the arcade.

I also hate it when they leave the seat all wet or sandy.

One of many reasons I'm glad my VCR still works.




I hate extended periods of cold weather (around the -40 mark).

We have a DVR so I don't worry about it.

I hate the fact that arcades are a waning industry.

But it hits me hard because my parents owned a Pizza place and an attatched arcade, and when my mom shut the pizzaria down in 2003, the Arcade certinaly couldn't sustain itself.

I grew up in an arcade--first exposed to turtles, Metal Slug, ect... and the fact they can't make it anymore sucks.
