The problems with the sound mix cannot be blamed on poor theater sound systems. I saw the movie in Dolby Atmos at the Ciné Capri, the best theater in Phoenix. I’ve heard things sound really good in there. This mix was not one of them.
I was kinda hoping I could blame the theater I saw it in, but it appears as though this is sadly not the case. Could they somehow ‘fix’ it for a DVD release…? Doubtful… but hopeful.
