Everything's fine. We're all adults, let's not try and babysit each other, pander and condescend like we need to be handled with kid gloves or something. Zion will decide who's getting antsy and out of hand and who isn't, let's let him do that.
And Beastly, I appreciate that you don't want things to get heated, but now your post asking for peace is completely papering over the points I'm trying to make, and in effect, asking people to NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THEM, and I think it's MORE than a good enough topic of discussion here, those questions I raise. As they go straight to the heart of WHY we're doing this.
Are we really doing it for the fans?
Or are we doing it so we can say we had something to do with ANY sort of release of Star Wars?
Are we doing it just to do it, just for the hell of it, for our own enjoyment?
Or are we doing it so we can take some credit and say "look at me...look what I did?"
Is it philanthropy?
Or Self-Gratification?
I think that's a good set of questions to put forth. Especially in this context, where someone as cool as Rik and as shitty as Daniel are essentially on the same side...I think that's something that should be addressed..Hopefully people won't get too heated, but once again, hopefully people aren't too eager to be babysat or to start babysitting.
