"Why DC Comics sucks" — Page 3

Toyman built a giant robot that sends superman 30 thousand years into the future. Everybody mourns his death, and heros come from all over the galaxy to attend his funeral. I assume they did it so they could have the Funeral like in the comics.

Meanwhile, Superman arrives on a future Earth, which he mistakes for an alien world. The sun is red, so he is powerless. He finds a car that Toyman sent to the future to try and find water, but evenutally disovers the watchtower crashed on the earth, and sees that all the JL is dead.

It turns out that right after he left, the an ex-Nazi that was granted immortality by a radioactive meteorite (back when he was a caveman) (In an earlier episode he tried to take over Nigeria or something) finds him and tells him he accidently altered the sun, causing the earth to become barren. He helps superman build a time machine, because 30,000 years alone have made him realize being evil is stupid.

Superman goes back and time and stops him from altering the sun, making the world right, and then the JL has to explain that superman isn't really dead. But Batman knew he wasn't the whole time.

Was this from the cartoon?
"I don't mind if you don't like my manners. I don't like them myself. They're pretty bad. I grieve over them during the long winter evenings."

The justice league cartoon, yes.

Not the Superman animated series. It's not really as convoluted as I made it sound, but you need to know a bit about the show, (specifically the identity of the exNazi) to understand it.

Aside from your atroicious spellin of the word 'except', I mostly agree.

Superman was way too powerful, green lanter was a wimp who was terrified of the color yellow. Wonder Woman was good until they changed her into a womens libber.

But the cartoons rewrite all the continuities making most of them tolerable. The new Green Lantern rules.

Whats the deal with everyone putting the hate on Hal Jordan?

The original Green Lantern.

Because there's no way a sissy white guy in a green and black suit afraid of the color yellow could ever bee cool.

Whoops, I goofed. Alan Scott was the original GL.

And besides, Kyle Raynor is and always will be the ultimate GL. And Barry must stay dead since Wally is infinitely better...
Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

WW is definitely the superior Flash.

BTW, is there anything worth reading featuring the second robin?

I have no idea. I hear that he was hate by fans...

BTW, is the second Robin even there in the TAS continuity, or does it skip to Jason Todd?

I just watched the Grayson trailer, and despite the fact my computer doesn't have sound, that looks like it would friggin' rule.

So fill in this blanK: The woman, Dick's wife. Was she Barbara Gordon/Batgirl. (Batgirl was definitely shown, which is why I asked)

Wasn't Jason Todd the second Robin? As for a good story...the one where Joker killed him makes for a good read.
