I’m still having trouble burning a DVD+R DL on a MBP running Mac OS X Mavericks from the AVCHD (DVD9) version that’s linked on tehparadox and hosted on uloz.
I’ve tried using Apple’s Disk Utility app and Sarner–Hauser’s Disco app. I’ve tried burning the ISO, the ISO and MDS, the ISO and MDS and TXT, the BDMV, and the BDMV and CERTIFICATE.
OS X System Information reports my optical drive can write to DVD+R DL, but each time I only end up with a data disc, not a playable disc.
Anyone succeeded at this? Which files am I supposed to burn? Which apps/methods do you recommend?

I had the EXACT same problem. I’m a MBP user, with OS X El Capitan. My resolution was to use Mac DVD Ripper to burn the ISO file.

I didn’t pay for it, I think you can do unlimited burning without actually paying. I successfully used this software to burn the AVCHD iso to DVD9 (DVD+R DL).
