I hate cheerleaders. I have friends that are cheerleaders, but just in general they're annoying people.

I totally agree...they always cause us to have to start our Iaido practice later cause they are busy standing around doing nothing..err..i mean practicing....why the hell is highschool 'sports' (i use the term loosly cause cheerleading isnt really a sport) going till 8pm anyway thats like 6 hours after they get out...wtf is that

Both movies have that creepy early 70s thing going on, the plot is bizarre almost surrealistic, and the kid actors are too irritating to watch. Tim Burton will probably add some Danny Elfman soundtrack (basically depressive kids going "la la la la"), add some goth-depressive aura to the whole thing, and change the ending.

Personally, I think it is a sport. Don't know what you're cheerleader's do, but ours are constantly doing flips, catching each other, aerobic stuff, etc.

Still annoying as hell .

Well, I'd say hate is too strong a word when you're talking about cheerleaders, they're not all bad.

I hate the activity of chearleading.

Cheerleaders... my tolerance varies from person to person.

I hate the hype and the spirit your expected to have, even if the individual games can be enjoyable.

well i actually take an Iaido and Kendo class through a community college and it meets at one of the county high schools. and the school was nice enough to double book the room. Now i understand that the students get first dibs but a) its 7pm...school gets out at 2ish. thats 5 hours for them to find time to have their practice (which lasts what, 2 hours max?) so i dont understand why they need to be there so late...plus shouldnt the school want them home by then so they could do the homework for class...i mean isnt that the point of school.
b) when we get there, they are mostly just standing around chatting. they do an occasional flip and summersault...or lift someone up...but most of it is just a waste of time...time i could be using to practice so i can get home afterwards, eat some dinner (at 10:30/11pm) then go to bed so i can be at work the next morning.
c) we pay for the room, so if your gonna take our money for something you damn well should be making sure that its available for us to use at the time you say.

so yeah, i hate the cheerleaders and i hate the school for double booking the room.

Although I'm not an athlete at our school, I love going to the games, but I hate the attention they all get. All the special treatment and whatnot. Our principal will show up at every football game, no questions asked, but it took an angry letter to get him to go to Academic Decathalon.

Not to say athletics are bad. Combined with academics, it does a great deal to enhance the mind.
