What were the differences in ESB mono?
Isn’t it similar to the 70mm?
I don’t know about the 70mm, but the biggest differences I can remember between the Mono and the Stereo mix are the following:
- the voice announcing “The First Transport is away” is different and is shifted in time.
- You can hear C-3PO arguing louder and more clearly with Chewbacca when they’re entering the Freezing Chamber.
I’m sure there’s other stuff as well, but I can’t remember. I do have a L/R comparison MP3 lying around somewhere if you’re interested.
