Yeah, I guess the title was a little misleading because it was upscaling, sorry to disappoint you. I just was blown away by the image quality taken from that LD. I never thought that clean and detailed of an image could be retrieved from the composite signal on a laserdisc, and I thought that the methods he used (especially if what he said in the comment section was true) could benefit laserdisc preservation projects going on here.
