Personally, I think it is a sport. Don't know what you're cheerleader's do, but ours are constantly doing flips, catching each other, aerobic stuff, etc.

Still annoying as hell

well i actually take an Iaido and Kendo class through a community college and it meets at one of the county high schools. and the school was nice enough to double book the room. Now i understand that the students get first dibs but a) its 7pm...school gets out at 2ish. thats 5 hours for them to find time to have their practice (which lasts what, 2 hours max?) so i dont understand why they need to be there so late...plus shouldnt the school want them home by then so they could do the homework for class...i mean isnt that the point of school.
b) when we get there, they are mostly just standing around chatting. they do an occasional flip and summersault...or lift someone up...but most of it is just a waste of time...time i could be using to practice so i can get home afterwards, eat some dinner (at 10:30/11pm) then go to bed so i can be at work the next morning.
c) we pay for the room, so if your gonna take our money for something you damn well should be making sure that its available for us to use at the time you say.

so yeah, i hate the cheerleaders and i hate the school for double booking the room.
