Be careful what you get super duper excited for.
I think I’ll be just fine. I’m as much excited to be seeing another feature film on IMAX 15/70 (something I thought Interstellar was likely the last time I might ever get to do) as I am to see a new Star Wars movie. And while I was skeptical at first, they’ve slowly won me over and I think this has a lot of potential to actually be a good Star Wars movie. But if it sucks, oh well, I’ve still got the OT (thanks to the awesome community here!) and I can still enjoy the Star Wars movies that made me a fan to begin with.
