Hey thanks for the feedback. I do like your explanation. I would applaud Leia’s intuition, but her knowing that they are being tracked opens up so many questions. Like why didn’t they rendezvous with several ships and transfer the plans to one of those ships, then send them all in different directions. The empire would not have been able to track those ships. Or why not jettison the plans with a tracker attached while in light speed and recover them later. Time is on their side as long as they don’t lead the empire directly to their target. These are just a few “what if” scenarios that are opened up when you give Leia knowledge that they are being tracked.

Your explanation makes perfect sense, however, it requires the viewer to make an assumption/draw a conclusion and I want to stay away from that as much as possible in this edit. (except in certain areas such as the mysteries of the force) Keep 'em coming. This is the kind of analysis/feedback I’m looking for. Thanks again.
