Before TPM was released, people said that it couldn’t possibly be worse than ROTJ.
I’ve talked to many people who were at least teenagers/young adults when TMP came out and no one had such discussions…
Still no one expected a Star Wars film to be not only bad, but a complete failure of a film.
I sure as hell did, after seeing the Desecrated Editions in the theater. I couldn’t even stomach RotJ😄E, and given that Lucas had managed to make my three favorite films unwatchable, I saw the writing on the wall as to Georgie-poo’s “vision”.
