fantasia was changed?

with e.t. i have the collectors set (didnt pay $80, i get all (most) of my dvds from dvdpricesearch.com ) but if i remember correctly, im pretty sure the fbi agents guns were removed in the 'unaltered' version as well...id have to check to be sure and thats too much work for right now

would you consider a movie altered if the US release of it is cut because certain scenes are deemed inappropriate by stupid conservative groups?

The original version of ET was available in the standard 2-disc set that I picked up for $20. I'm fairly sure that the guns and "terrorist" line were restored.
