I've always wanted to do something like setting up a rom arcade cabinet.

Does anybody here have a copy of Q-Bert or Burgertime for the 2600 they are willing to part with?

I have too.

I've got an extremely old Star Wars arcade rom. Its so old, that its unplayable on anything better than a 286.

Luckily, I've got an old 8088 sitting and a CGA monitor sitting in the basement.
I've got an old gamport expansion card, and I need to find a decent joystick (a flight yoke if I can) to work with it.

I've noticed that the ROM scene has kinda died down...there is nothing but dead links and porn popups nowadays everywhere you look.
Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

They had a special about the guy that made those in an issue of EGM.

I can go rummage around my EGM pile and scan the article if anyone really wants it.

I've seen those portable Ataris before. There was an article in Wired a couple years ago about the guy that makes them. He customizes them to whatever specs you give him in terms of design. They are spectacular and beautiful and I want one.
