Bossk, I agree with everything you say, and I agree that both versions of the film should be made available to the public, and petitioning LFL is a good start, but is sitting around here cussing and bitching about the changes gonna help. If George Lucas was reading this site (which he, or at least someone at Lucasfilm may well be doing), we all come across as a bunch of moany geeks with nothing better to do than bitch. If I was George, I would say 'yeah, maybe these guys have a point, but fcuk 'em.

It is fun to vent about the changes, I admit, but don't you think some people are overeacting? You have to admit that when all the prequels are finished and watched along with the new versions of the OT as a 6 part saga, it will be a pretty sweet viewing experience, telling the story of Vader's rise and fall, and it will all slot in nicely. I used to be dead against it but I'm mellowing to the idea. It would be nice to get the unaltered OT out to the public though, yes.
