Okay, here's something I hate. I work in public relations as a graphic designer and we have a system for proofreading that is pretty intense to make sure that all publications that come from where I work meet a certain standard. Some departments still decide to outsource just because of how overloaded our department can sometimes become. Well, here's the part that I hate. The stuff that is outsourced obviously doesn't go through our proofreading circuit. I just looked at one piece that was produced and has already been sent out and I noticed that a photo on the cover of the piece was reversed. Not too big a deal if the guy in the photo wasn't wearing a sweatshirt with our name on it...backwards.
