You can kind of equate it to some kind of random act of kindness. I stop and help someone who is choking and save their life and then they sue me for breaking a rib while giving them the Heimlich Maneuver. That's how I look at this situation.
If I could go back and change my fan status regarding SW, would I? Maybe a little. I'd never want to ruin my childhood by taking that away, but I don't think I would have gone to the theater for the SE releases of the OT and I wouldn't have purchased any of the new paraphernalia that has been released in stores since 1995. No toys, no books, etc.
Would any of you change how you spent money on SW related items (tickets to movies included) if you could knowing what you know now about how GL has become?
