I don't know how many of you are into other forms of Sci-Fi. I've been known to watch just about anything except Andromeda...and who knows, if I started watching from the beginning, I might find that appealing as well.

Anyways, for those of you that haven't heard, A rumor that has been confirmed as true by Sci-Fi.com says that Ben Browder aka John Crichton will become a regular on Stargate SG-1 for its 9th season.

Thoughts?

Other than that it's going to look very out of place, not really.

Unless they can tie the two plots together.

They aren't combining the shows. Just the one actor has been hired from one to be a regular on the other.

I MAY ACTUALLY START WATCHING SG-1 NOW. HOWEVER, I WOULD RATHER WATCH NEW SEASONS OF FARSCAPE.

I could care less. I just wanted to make sure IGN wasn't pulling our collective leg when it's reivews said that John and his fiancee had been blown into peices that had to be collected in the frog-dudes mouth and reassembled...

And that was actually in there!!

I saw about 60-70% of the Peacekeeper Wars, including the very ending.

I think the end was a fitting conclusion, however, I can see how would be possible to restart the series.
(Similar to how one could watch ANH, and see that as a conclusion to a story, but then have ESB and ROTJ follow it up).
