Just did some quick googling, and N Sync seems to be saying that they were filmed. And then later cut. I can't tell the order of what happened or anything. And I don't know N Sync very well. But I DO know that the Jedi who throws Anakin his Saber while in the arena looks freakishly like and N Sync member, and it appears that they were at least filmed.

Whatever. I can't get to the bottom of it. I'll trust you Bossk. But that guy...
