Then again, I did buy MegaManX4 there used and it didn't work.

But believe it or not, I actually bought my copy of Halo 2 used. Hey, five bucks is five bucks.

Holy CRAP!! This BLOWS.

Hey, if you like Madden more than the others, more power to you. But to totally eliminate any other developer from making an NFL game?!?! WTF!

That's called monopoly.

So, every other softwarehouse that decides to make a football videogame must create fictional teams and players... Have you seen the teams on the movie "Any Given Sunday", well 'nuff said...
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Actually, this might give Sega a chance to work up some creative new ideas for it's football games, and give them more personality that the real NFL.

Wouldn't it be great to see this move backfire and Sega make megabucks on AFL football or their own fictional leave.
Man I hate EA.

I didn't think EA was this power hungry, maybe I was just being naïve.

We were all naive. I've know EA was power hungry, but this...

Hey, about Front Mission 4: it's still 24.99 at gamestop. Best Buy is currently getting it off their shelves so I just grabbed it for 14.99 on their website.

It got bad reviews pretty universally, I think because of expectations. Coming off of mechwarrior and such, they wanted something action oriented. It's a very slow game with tons of menu customization and set up time. Those who know what to expect, i.e., those who were looking for the next FF Tactics or Dynasty Tactics, loved it.

I haven't played it yet, but my friends highly recommend it. Just know what you are getting. You aren't driving mechs around, you're picking options from a menu and playing a board game. A board game that kicks butt.

I stay away from the handheld market. But if I didn't, that woudl be a game I pursued.

The GBA is without a doubt the system this generation with the most kickbutt games.

Advance Wars I and II
Zelda LttP
Golden Sun I and II
Mario Advance I-IV
Megaman Zero I-III
Metal Slug
Castlevania
Astro Boy
Street Fighter
Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls
Metroid Fusion (Worth purchase of the system for)
Metroid Zero Mission
Sonic Advance I-III
Mario and Donkey Kong
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire
Pokemon Red and Green
Maxiumum Velocity
Grand Prix Legends
Mario Kart Super Circuit
Dodge Ball Advance
Tactics Ogre

And of course the promise of LoZ The Minish Cap early next year.

Meh, most of those were remakes from the GB GB Color and SNES days though.

I hate to continue to be technical, but the line was really

"Don't get technical with me."

You near-sighted scrap-pile.

Well... It was in a video game thread.

So perhaps you can be forgiven. This once.

So, what games are all the rest of you looking foreward to?
(I know Chaltab and I leave little room in this thread for everyone else)

So how 'bout Alien Homonid? I've played the flash version. It's really hard.

Thanks to whoever it was for posting that link about the EA deal...as a loyal ESPN fan i'm incredibly grateful I didn't buy any of that crap that has been coming out of the Madden camp for the last five years. If it wasn't for the Batman license and those incredible Lord of the Rings games, i'd be screaming "screw EA" at the top of my lungs.
Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

"Stay back, or Mr...Fett gets it!"
