While we're waiting, I'm going to post a guess.

2 3 4 5 28 - that's 5 numbers. Split the 28 into its digits:
2 2 3 4 5 8 - that's 6 numbers and twin 2s, and it adds up to 24.

But I doubt that's it. 1 2 3 8 19 would work with the same reasoning, and countless others.
