Well, generally.
"I don't mind if you don't like my manners. I don't like them myself. They're pretty bad. I grieve over them during the long winter evenings."

Think of Bond villians.

I don't watch Bond films enough to know what you mean. The only one I've seen more than once is DAD.

My favorite would probably be From Russia With Love, its also the one that follows its book counterpart the closest.

There are Bond books now too?

I can't imangine that many people who watch a Bond film would have the patience to read through a novel. You an obvious exception.

I was just imitating the idiots who didn't know that Lord of The Rings were books first.

Actually happened:
There was an activist in NYC, trying to get the name of the second LoTR film changed, because it was insensitve to the WTC attacks. A guy asks him how is it insensitive if the books were written in 1957, and the activist said, "They have books of them?"

D'oh.

Not to mention that the author died the same year that the WTCs construction was started.

OK, things I hate: Oracle.

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/041213/photos_ts/mdf793913

Oracle bought PeopleSoft, the company I (indirectly) work for, and is planning to destroy it so only Oracle ERPs are sold. They will discontinue PeopleSoft's products. So next year, with the release of MicroSoft'S ERPs and this move by Oracle, I'm predicting that companies all around the world will get VERY, VERY inneficient.

By the way, if anyone wants my resume I'd gladly send it, because thanks to Oracle and to the bastards at PeopleSoft who sold it, I might be our of job soon. My resume consists only of a picture of me dressed as a nerd in front of a computer, I thought that would impress technology companies more than a real resume.

“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

One: That was on G4 before the merger. I think.

Two: Who cares what a bunch of people voted the best/most adjective/least adjective/blank noun game/character/blank ever?

Three: Diane Mizota is pretty, but she hosts with the enthusiasm of cardboard.

You mean it's possible to speak in public without making a fool of yourself?

Finals week.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

I love finals week, because after it's over, then there's nothing left that semester.

Plus I don't have to be at school until 9AM tommorrow.
