TENG is hands down one of the funniest movies ever, animated or live action.

There is a drive in theatre down the street from me, but its all broken down and old. Nonetheless, its still fun to go see certain movies there when they come out. (I saw Freddie v Jason, and a few others recently, but nothing notable).

I might be tempted to see Ep 3 at one when it comes out, after ive seen it in a legit theatre first.

Curse all those illiegal drive-ins. We have to crack down on out door movie crime or it will destroy the world.

You know, I'm glad that it wasn't my generation that started the horrible anime craze. And I'm also glad that my brother got out before it consumed him.

The only anime I like are Gundam Wing, YuYu Hakusho, Dragon Ball and DBZ. I'm not too fond of DBGT.

The main thing is that all the anime dubding studios, despite the absurd amounts of money the liscense for the anime makes them, hire some of the worst voice actors in the industry. But the generation below mine (1991 to present) either doesn't care, or doesn't notice. WHich is why YuGiOh was a top rated show for most of last year.

Well, the stuff that CN ran on Toonami is not the best anime in the world either.

And you have to admit that at least a reasonable percentage of anime released has good voice overs (Cowboy Bebop and Trigun for example).

They are definitely among the best when it comes to acting, but I find both shows stupid and boring.
Especially Trigun. Stupid idiot Vash dances around the whole episode getting shot at, and then gets phenominally lucky and wins at the last minute. *Wrings hands and screams*

Not really.

Dragon ball isn't episodic at all. It tells a continuing story, unlike, say Sailor Moon, which basically has ever episode ending in some stupid heart love-flower strenght obliteration super move, and every villain is defeated the same way.

Unfortunatley, DBGT feels the need to rehash and reuse old story lines, plue I just can't stand Pan and SSJ4 Goku's voices.

sessler... ive read all 42 books of dragonball and all i can say is: wow! its great! im 28, so im not a kid, but i loved it and still do! and its not rehashing.

I've read all of the DragonBall manga(the first 18 if I remember correctly), and its great. I just don't like the DBZ anime.

the 42 i speak of is all the way until the Majin Buu saga and all that... just before DBGT, didnt want to get into that.
