Star Wars can never be good again; it's basically the Fourth Law of Thermodynamics now. And the corporate exploitation by Disney calling itself Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is a perfect example of this. Look how we complain about the box art for every DVD release, or went hysterical when the score changed for the digital releases. The franchise has sucked hard for decades now, and one film directed by corporate lackey doing a third-rate Spielberg impression is not going to alter the course of a sinking ship. Does anyone think Poe Dameron or Finn are going to be as memorable as Luke & Han? BB8 is just the whole Jar Jar Binks marketing fas all over again, and Kylo Ren is just going to be another Darth Maul at best. We live in an age where the internet has permanently destroyed cinema, and with Marvel films starting to break down there is little hope this can meet anyone's expectations.
