They still don't suck to me. I still enjoy them.

That's because you obviously aren't lactating.
And how dare anyone have a differing opinion.

Just FYI, being allowed to have a differing opinion and being allowed to escape criticism for having a differing opinion are two different things.

Works both ways. It's art, it's subjective.

Then make your own thread about that. Or even better, post in this thread. Here is not the place for it. "When did you realize the Prequels sucked?" is for people who think that the prequels sucked and to discuss when this realization happened, not for discussing wether or not they sucked.
To not be completely off topic: It took me longer than I'd like to admit, maybe a year after ROTS. I always liked the OT much more than the PT, but it said Star Wars in the title so I kind of had to like it. I don't think there was a definite event that made me not like them anymore, I just lost interest over time and when I came back I couldn't stand them anymore.

And let's all play nice, kids.
Where were you in '77?
Did Anthony Daniels realize the Prequels suck?
Rogue One is redundant. Just play the first mission of DARK FORCES.

Yeah but the hypocrisy is if someone started a positive prequel thread, many of you throw negative comments in it and would say they should be allowed. Truth told, there really isn't anything that can be said on the topic that hasn't already been said over the last 10 years. Pos or neg.

You mean this thread? Where there are lots of different users that, while they may not have liked the prequels in their entirety, praised aspects of them that they genuinely liked. There's a lot of cool and interesting stuff in the prequels but, and this is just my opinion, it's undermined by an onslaught of badness, most of which can be attributed to the script and the direction.
There's nothing wrong with liking something (unless it's something truly heinous like rape or murder), but there's also nothing wrong with discussing it with people that may not have liked it. They probably have very good reasons for not liking the prequels, just as I'm sure you have good reasons for liking them.

I thought the phantom menace was ok
FFS, how many times do you people have to be asked?
Longer than most. I'm 31 years old today so you can do the math. I was fairly young when episode I was released. I remember liking the lightsaber fight while the plot went mostly over my head. Same with Episode II.
My thought process was changing by the time ROTS launched. But largely I realized the prequels sucked in hindsight.
Killing threads with Cynicism since 2003
I kinda could tell from the trailers already that is something completely different, different as in, not so cool, too much CGI for me
Immediately.
Wrong thread.
I see a familiar pattern developing. You may or may not be twooffour, but you're definitely someone who's been banned before.

But if I were someone other (Nothern accent!), how would I know? Research? Who'd bother!
