LOL
I googled "vader veers" to find an image of it, first result is from here! Then I noticed the path is in my photobucket! Apparently, I've laughed at this here before.
Why does everyone think these dumb regular humans are important? Veers, Jerrjerrod, Tarkin. Never once when I watched these did I think that. In order of seniority: Emperor, Vader. No one else. Never did anyone ever wear a costume for Halloween of one of these Moffs, whatever a Moff is anyway.
I'll give you the others, but Tarkin was undeniably important. Vader was Tarkin's bitch in ANH, whether you like it or not.

Adywan, 005, etc. there was some talk a while ago about Ady not wanting to release ESB:R until after TFA, has this been confirmed? Is your decision final?
I mean, if it's not done by December, no problem, but if it is, why hold it? Genuinely curious if that's the case, nothing more. I'm planning on doing an OT marathon the weekend before TFA opens and would be really great to have both ANH and ESB Revisited available for it.

TFA comes out close to Christmas. Around the time of the release is, and always has been, my stopping point for doing any work on revisited. I have to plan in advance what can be achieved and completed before this time frame. Especially when building sets etc that will take up one of my rooms ( usually the dining room) . The Wampa set is one thing that can't just be moved and stored away and put back together at a later date. It has to be built, filmed and then destroyed and binned. So, if work isn't completed before TFA is due to come out, then it won't be until the new year.

adywan are you updating any of the cgi effects like cloud city and a new hope's death star run etc.
I have been looking at the matte paintings of Bespin recently.
I noticed there was some swapping around on the buildings particularly the Slave 1 landing Platform. What is curious about it is that it must have been re-done a few times as the buildings when the falcon takes off on the left seemed to have been originally planned for Slave 1. I know they are gone in Revisited (i do miss the Spire on the right though.. sorry) but it is worth knowing that it was swapped about and put to Plaform 327 which is a bit odd.
And then I stumbled across yet another Joe Johnston story board... The Storm troopers Run out the door, again they never made it in to the next shot. Is it Just Joe's Imagination getting a bit carried away?
Nevermind... one of the Patrols might pick them up :)
I dont think there is any more missing or adjusted elements I found four from existing footage in the film discounting planned scenes never constructed. 2 laser fire 1 shot missing tie fighters and the troops on the platform. Not too many and adjusted would seem to count for 3 of them Laser and tie fighters to suit the story.
EDIT:
forgot about the deflection lasers from Han shooting at Vader but you did something about that one that counts in the missing pile. And cool you did that.
I just looked at it a bit more in depth... The shot of the Storm trooper running was moved to a later point in the sequence to make it appear as if the Storm Troopers were not meant to have reached the Platform in the take off shot because they are missing and not filmed.... But you will notice Lando's last Laser bolt is fired before he retreats and hits the wall before the storm trooper runs giving up the shots proper original order in the sequence. As who can fire the shot that hits the wall if they are all already on board the falcon... Another puzzle solved.

Ah! Yes that makes sense, thanks. It seems I misinterpreted or incorrectly remembered what was said back then. That the release would be held back after TFA hype went down a bit, even if it had been completed before Dec 17.
I imagine the family wouldn't be too excited about having christmas dinner inside the Wampa cave in your dining room, lol! I mean, I totally would be. Your wife/family's patience is remarkable, they too deserve credit for this crazy endeavor. :)
So, building sets and props, filming them + audio work... what % would you say is done/left to do?
To give an idea of what is left to do, here is a screenshot of the audio track editing timeline. each marker on the timeline represents shots left to do. As you can see, the majority of shots left to do involve one of the remaining miniatures/ props etc. Mainly the hangars, wampa and HiC. The audio is approx 80% complete. So not much left to do now ( click on image to see full size view)

Wow. How many tracks are you using in Revisited? I do some video editing myself, and I thought I used many tracks, but it seems you are using way more than me. :)
Those are audio tracks. Lots of different sound effects with added effects on each track. many tracks are needed when creating a new 6.1 audio track ;)
6.1? Oy, oy.

Wow, that certainly is a big project timeline in Sony Vegas. I would like to know how you managed to avoid any crashes with that many tracks in your timeline and still keep your sanity.
I wouldn't be surprised if it had crashed a few times but Ady hopefully backs up everything (please back up everything) :-D

LOL VEGAS... I like the audio editing it can do, but a headache for video where I feel premier pro CC is better..

I hope someone has backed him up too.
I tried playing around with doing an edit in Sony Vegas with 6.1 audio but was disappointed as it wouldn't seem to allow me to do 24 bit audio, only 16 bit. Not a huge, huge deal, but was a bit disappointed. Granted, maybe there is a way to do it; I just couldn't figure out how to at the time.
You have the option of 24 bit audio in vegas pro. Its in the project settings
Ady: have you ever considered filming yourself as you work (ie a camera looking over your shoulder) and either selling or posting the clips as a teaching tool on how to edit?

My excitement intensifies!

Perhaps do live Twitch streaming, this would also be a way to raise funds through subscriptions/ donations.
