If you scroll up there are notable examples that there are good writers due to certain novels getting universal praise. So the whole "make it better" response doesn't necessarily equate to the entirety of the nuEU

Now that I can accept because who ever wrote Heir To The Jedi and Aftermath needs to be fired immediately. They need to have James Luceno do some more novels and as someone else pointed out there needs to be less novels. 2...maybe 3 a year.
