Granted, I only read the first X-Wing book, and that was actually pretty all right, but the duology he did for the NJO (I'm blanking on the name) was powerfully lame. The way he positions his own original character Corran Horn as this super cool guy at the center of everything who everyone loves and is best buds with Luke Skywalker just really rubs me the wrong way, especially because he only gets cameos in other books if he's even mentioned at all.
