Well, I think it's booty...booty, booty...booty, booty...that's what it is.
Professor, what's another word for "pirate treasure"?
Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.

Teenage-level sarcasm doesn't change the fact that there are an ass load of countries that are hotter than Canada, 100% of the time. Maybe you should spend a summer in Brazil?
That's like saying your thigh bones are bigger than your finger bones, so don't complain about a broken finger.
No, Canada may not reach those levels of heat, but that still doesn't make the temperatures I get comfortable (especially living in this poorly-insulated, non-air conditioned hovel I'm supposed to call home).

No, it's actually more like complaining to somebody else who has a broken thigh bone because you have a broken finger.
Fine, fine. From here on out, I promise to bitch about hot weather only once or twice a year. Would that be sufficient?
Quite!
In fairness to Duracell, Canada has to deal with a lot of variation in temperature, which requires a bit of adjustment throughout the year. Where I live, we usually have at least one day of -40°C in a year, and we often have a few days of about 35°C in the summer.
Except I'm forgetting that Duracell lives in the tropical Okanagan Valley....
I'd describe it more like a desert ...
But anyway, on a different note, is this an adequate improvement on the original, or do I need to work on it more?
Some desert...you can grow anything there, it seems.
Hyperbolic statement is hyperbolic. =P
You guys remember "Rogue Squadron 3d"?
I'm making a cover of the main theme on Famitracker, a sequencer that produces music for the NES (basically any composition written on it will run on the actual console).
The original theme was composed by the talented and prolific Chris Huelsbeck.
Here's a current work in progress:

EDIT: forgot to add, this tune uses the VRC6 expansion chip.
Ah, famitracker. Probably the easiest way to make real nes music...if you are able to learn how trackers work :P

It's reasonably easy once you get the hang of it.
I'm still at a basic level, I'd say, no original songs yet, all covers. Many unfinished songs in my folder. "Rogue Squadron" is one of my most recent ones.
I've been working for months on Elmer Bernstein's Ghostbusters Theme. It's almost finished, I need to sequence the last part with the key change. That one also uses the VRC6.

Anybody else getting their script/pop up blocker acting up with the site today?
This has never happened to me before. I've had the site totally whitelisted for years.
Where were you in '77?
Hasn't happened to me.
I will never, ever, ever, EVER eat casu marzu.

This is the second weird thing I've seen you mention. Are you on the new host or software (or whatever Jay has some users testing)?
This is happening on the current one, but only in this thread.

The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies Extended is rated R. What the heck?
IMO the Peter Jackson Hobbit movies should have only been one movie, and it should have been rated PG. The Hobbit book was for kids, yet this movie surpasses the age rating from what should have been the more serious trilogy.

Well, Smaug isn't wearing any pants. ;)
Seriously though, you never know with the MPAA. (It takes just one F bomb to push a PG into a PG-13.) It could all boil down to how many whacks it takes to remove an Orc's head or something.
Revenge of the Sith is the only PG-13 Star Wars film to date, and that's mostly because of Anakin's BBQ.
Considering the graphic violence one can see on tv these days, an R rating seems kind of silly for BOTFA.

Times change. The SE of THX 1138 was rated R in 2004, though the previous versions had been rated PG back in the 70s (and that was back when there was no PG-13 rating!).
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

Yes, well, with all those stupid digital effects shoved in, that version of the movie deserves to be restricted. =P
On a lighter note, I just finished replacing the Windows 7/Debian 8 Xfce duel boot setup of my laptop with a Windows 10/Xubuntu 15.04 one. On the Xubuntu side of things I have this problem. Anybody have any suggestions?

The original release actually carried the now defunct GP rating...

The 1978 post Star Wars reissue was PG of course.
