Nope.

I swear November 2004 must be the best month for politically conservative gamers EVER!!!

And about the EpIII game: Why does grievous only have two arms in that screen?

But you don't even have MGS3 in your tag

Because I hate Stealth "action."

The gist of MGSTS (for GC) was running around avoiding securtiy camera, then getting beat to death by immortal guards.

Yeah, Metal Gear Solid disappointed me too. Even Splinter Cell is better.

Finally picked up Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. I might actually play it and beat it this time around.

Oh yeah, I KICKED DRACULA'S BUTT IN CIRCLE OF THE MOON...took another 10 exp levels...
Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

Bleh, Splinter Cell is better than MGS?

BLASPHEMY!!

I played MGS3 today for a while. Very, very nice, but I think they made a HUGE mistake releasing the game now, bad timing. They should have waited a couple of weeks.

Maybe it is good:

If so many people buy other things, and don't have enough money for MGSIII, Maybe Konami will take the hint and stop making MGS games.

Why? They keep getting better every time.

... Well, they couldn't get much worse, so I'll take you're word for it.

Oh, well, each to his own.

While I think that both the Splinter Cell and MGS franchises are extremely well made games, I have to admit I absolutely hate the genre. I've played a few entries in each series, and it seems to me that, while well made, the gameplay itself consists exclusively of 'trial-and-error', which I find to be for the birds. But again, to each their own. Seems like a lot of people are having a good time and I'm missing out.

anyone here into MMPORPG (Massive MultiPlayer Online RolePlaying Game)? if yes, then i STRONGLY suggest World of Warcraft. ive played the open beta, and i can hardly wait for its europe release in february.

if there is anyone that is willing to play on european servers (your billing adress has to be european unfortunately) then maybe we should figure something out. i am definitely going to play and some friends here in Denmark are too.

MGS 4 HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. PRE-PRODUCTION ON THE GAME HAS BEGUN.

Crud. So much for getting my hopes up.

Oh well, at least I have Halo2, Rachet and ClankUYA, GTASA, and Metroid Prime 2 to get me started. I'm thinking of getting Jak II and Beyond Good and Evil as soon as I beat Rachet and and Halo. (Unquestionalby the two shortest of the four)

Speaking of UYA, you think it'd be good enough for purchase or just a rental?

If you can play online, definitley a purchase.

It is still a great buy, just for the single player, unless you intend to beat it in a day, or something. I hear that the single player is something like 10 hours, so it will keep you busy for a little while offline.

It is discounted to retail at $40 , so it isn't going to hurt you wallet as much as Halo2 will, either.

This is the worst review I have seen for it.

Well, seems like the critics enjoy it.

So do I.

Did you like the second R&C? If so, then you'll probably love this one.

To tell you the truth, I've never played R&C.

You serious?

You don't know what you've been missing. All three are excellent, and IMO the best reasons to own a PS2. Choice between GTA and R&C, and I'll go with the Lombax and Robot.

Imagine if Mario 64 stared a Lombax, was linear and not about collecting stars, but about collecting usable weapons. Now imagine that it had a humorous Sci-Fi story, litereally thousands of things to blow up, and suberb voiceovers. The first game is more about exploration for the first half, and the second half is a lot about shooting stuff. The second one is almost strait-up action with occasional platforming, and UYA is basically more of the same.

So its sort of like Metal Arms, except with a sidekick?

Sorry, I ain't played metal arms.

Clank doesn't do much. For most of the game, he sits on your back, letting you use the helicopter or rocket boost, depending on which you have equipped. (These let you long jump and highjump, as well as float slowly. Basically they give you Mario powers)

There are, however, some missions where clank gets his own challenges alone, and can control up to four smaller robots Pikmin-style. In GC and UYA, there are also 'Giant Clank' missions involving smashing lunar cities. Fun stuff.

Hmm, sounds pretty cool.

BTW, you should pick up Metal Arms, its a really satisfying robot-action game. Plus its one of the XBOX Platinum Titles, so its marked down to $20.

Are you kidding? I don't have enough times to play the games I have, let alone back-play.
