I never even noticed. There's all kind of speedups in the first two (or three?) movies, though.

The only thing that really bugged me (aside from the super-saturated orange'n'teal) was that all of the CGI/green-screen in the opening sequence looked like it was done by the same team that did the Star Wars movies >_< The rest of the movie looked pretty good, although I've read that he actually did stick with mostly practical effects, so maybe that had something to do with it...
