I've been using the new EU novels as a sort of palate-cleanse between more serious fare, and I've got to say that Lords of the Sith has much better pacing than any of the three books that preceded it. It certainly has its problems, but I'm not finding myself getting bored the way I did with everything else so far.

EDIT: Wait, do the new books really not belong here? I know we've rebooted or whatever, but I really can't see this stuff reaching a wider audience or being considered higher status than the old stuff was in practice. If we really are keeping discussion separate, though, apologies.
