Why? Because we couldn't experience first hand how terrible bands like Poison, Whitesnake, and Journey were, and thus our natural defenses to them are diminished and we must rely only on second hand advice on dealing with their treachery?

I'm one of those people that would probably feel out of touch with the times regardless of the decade I was born.

My reaction to the song, I wish I had a way to record it. It was a "nooooooooooo" of sadness, frustration, amusement... so many emotions in one second, I didn't know whether to cry or laugh.

I got Dragnet starring Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks and "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston.
I've never seen that movie, and while I don't mind that song, I'm pretty indifferent to Ms. Houston overall, so consider me semi-disappointed.
