'Twas a terrible day, that time of my stay,
When the basement did flood--and, no, not with mud
And though caused by the tenants, they now have prevented
From collecting what's due, so trouble'll ensue
And now they'll not pay, even though they did stay
I'm two months out of pocket, with no way to stop it!
The ground now is clear, and the account I do fear
But until my return, this trouble I'll spurn
No good will it do, to further pursue
And if never again, I rent property to them
It should be no surprise, because now I am wise
