...I think you dropped these, Mr. Lucas.
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”
Nur eine Waffe taugt:
die Wunde schliesst
der Speer nur, der sie schlug.
Sei heil, entsündigt und gesühnt!
Denn ich verwalte nun dein Amt.
Gesegnet sei dein Leiden,
das Mitleid’s höchste Kraft
und reinsten Wissens Macht
dem zagen Thoren gab !
Den heil'gen Speer -
ich bring' ihn euch zurück !
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”
^Ach du lieber! Das ist nicht eine boobie!
Fine. Because you demanded it:

Well, at least it's not s'pork.

"Princess Leia" was a disappointing series overall. Here's hoping next week's "Lando" is better. "Darth Vader" #7 had some moments.

Yes, indeed it was. Aside from some nice cover art and the flashbacks to Leia's childhood in the second issue, the entire mini-series was a waste -- a bland, shoddily-drawn, under-developed, utterly pointless waste.
I've heard virtually nothing but good things about Mark Waid's writing, but so far I haven't read anything from him which isn't either meh or lousy; this story falls into the latter category. I seriously hope he never writes for the SW Universe ever again.
I was hoping Aphra wouldn't do something to incite Vader's wrath so soon but it was bound to happen. I was always incredulous to why she was such a sycophant when she was introduced.

Inept writing is probably the answer.

More like her trying to win favor with Vader which made her privy to information that could lead her to getting currency. I have no idea what inept writing would have to do with it.

This will be our first insight into the post-ROTJ galaxy. I like the synopsis.
Sounds promising but the proof is in the pudding. Marvel so far has completely floundered with their Star Wars efforts, save for the one series not written by a Marvel regular.
Death Star's still sporting the shockwave, I see.
I hate that goddamn shockwave.
That said, though, I love that cover. This sounds like a series I'll actually be tempted to check out.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em

What, you mean the Praxis wave? (Or the "Kunst wave," as I think they call it in certain parts of Massachusetts.)
I don't like it either. Too anachronistic.

Don't know if any of you have seen this, but Vader's getting a new Arc where he fights a huge swath of the Rebellion by himself. Vader apparently goes full power:

Oh, I can't imagine how that will end. *rollseyes*

Yeah... that's what makes these comics so uniteresting to me. He may be defeated, but he HAS to eventually succeed.

That's just silly. Vader is Vader, not Kyle Katarn.
