Half Life 2 got the best reviews on gamespot I've ever seen (althought I have see only, like, 5 other reviews), and if it's as good as the Half Life 1 multiplayer, I'll be satisfied. Team Fortress Classic, a multiplayer Half Life mod, is in my opinion the most fun multiplayer game ever, maybe as good as Goldeneye for the N64. Surely there will be a Team Fortress for the HL2, so... Gah I can't barely wait.

I've been following the development of this game since 2001, 2002, I've waited for it like SW fans have waited for the PT (but I WONT be disapointed)... and it has been delayed for so long, I remember it has been on pre-sell on amazon for almost 2 years!
