The first weeks grosses might have been slightly inflated(not more than a couple million) due to Star Wars fans, but I bet nobody left after the trailer, like the reports I heard when it was if front of Meet Joe Black. The Incredibles made $50 million its second week. That definitely was not from Star Wars fans going to see the trailer. Incredibles is a great movie for families who are starved for wholesome entertainment. That is why it is making so much money. I don't remember any Star Wars references, but there was a chase scene that reminded me of the bike chase scene in Jedi.
By the way, Raising Arizona, Life Less Ordinary, and O Brother Where Art Thou are Holly Hunter movies that are definitely worth renting.

There are almost always Star Wars references; Toy Story 2 was an SW reference bonanza.

sorry for the bumb, but finally saw this movie last night and it was totally amazing...debating on seeing it again tonight when i go to the movies

anyone that says it did so well because of the SW trailer obviously hasnt seen the movie, though it was nice to see the trailer on the big screen

and yes, the forest chase def reminded me of ROTJ as well

awsome movie, if you havent seen it, go see it now...leave work, skip class, whatever you gotta do, just go see it kind of upset i didnt get it see it when the theatre still had it playing on the digital projection though

definatly gonna buy this as soon as it comes out on dvd though
