Our national anthem has(since whenever it was officially adopted as such), is and will always be The Star Spangled Banner and that's that.

It's not too late to fix that mistake. The focus on a battle from the War of 1812 that happened to inspire an amateur poet, put to a rather obnoxious melody, and not even adopted as the National Anthem until 1931(!) does not merit such deference.
