If we are doing a project and there is a foreign language for it, we can add it

Wouldn't this result in a lower bitrate for the video due to less available space on the disc?

Does anyone have the original release from Japan of this title?

Is that the fake anamorphic directors cut?

It is fake? but yes I need the Directors Cut in anamorphic.

If so what exactly is "fake" anamorphic lol? and who has the best anamorphic release of the DC?

There is no anamorphic release I am afraid, (I will kill for one!)

It was a LD master, and mastered at 4:3

The JP disc took said master and cropped the bars out a little

So the JP disc has the worst quality?

I don't know what the scandinavian looks like. But it is stetd to be non anamorphic...

So can anyone help us get the other "unrated" versions? like I said we do not need the German Kinowelt DVD, I have that one.

Thanks

By the way it does not matter, anamorphic or non, we need more versions to possibly do something up.

So I was looking for a custom cover for Return of the Living dead last night and stumbled across this gem from several years ago.  Has this project been abandoned, or is there still a chance it will see the light of day at some point?  It was mentioned around the time of The White Buffalo was being worked on.

I'd love to see TeamBlu do Return Of The Living Dead 3! Part 3 is awesome!

So, last Week I got some of the TeamBlu stuff. (The one who made this possible knows who he is :) )

And so I was able to give "The Neverending Story" (2 Discs), "Jason goes to Hell", "Conan - Extended Cut", "Night of the living Dead [1990]", "Terminator" and "Temrinator 2" a "try".

Long things short: I just love the Work of Team Blu. That's what official Release should be... (okay, personally I would love having a german Audio track, because some people I know just watch movies.. dubbed, and have no interest in watching them in original Audio, so I can enjoy these Blus only with quite a few friends... )

I think it is quite good, that this weekend my next door neighbor is not at home. The 2.0 Track on Terminator 2 is just a monster. I love the complete dynamic of the CDS (if I remember right) track, but the 2.0 Track just blows my Audio Setup into new spheres of power.

Damn great work.

Conan Extended Cut?????  Extended cut still has a "?" by availability?  Can DJ shed any light on Conan it seems to be the most elusive of all the releases if you ask me.  Is the extended cut audio fixed liked the theatrical cut?  Anyway Conan can get precedence for upload when things get back rolling?  Not trying to be pushy just wondering.  Thanks!

I have a copy of the local Scandinavian Bluray anamorphic release, haven't watched it yet to check if it's the Director's Cut. I'll try to do that in the next two days to see what version it is.

Are you talking about Scream? if so with it being BD I am sure it is the Theatrical that all the Countries got, but if you have the Scandinavian DVD that looks to be the uncut version, do you have this or can get it?

I'm sure I have an HD capture of the Scream unrated cut on an external hard drive somewhere. If I remember correctly its 1080i but oar.

edit - reading through the nfo file that came with it this an nc-17 version, not unrated but not as heavily cut as the dvd. Can provide if it's of any use?

Yes, I am talking about SCREAM and I can easily keep my eyes peeled at the local trade shops and flea markets for the old Director's Cut DVD. A quick scan for a few key DC scenes from my bluray I have at the moment before my kid got home revealed that perhaps the scene where Steven is gutted has the long shot intermixed with the closeup (need to find the DC dvd to make a comparison), Casey's death tracking shot is at normal speed and also where Tatum's head is crushed by the garage door is the full length crushing scene...evident by the head "smooshing" down in the same fashion as located in the screen shots found here:

I don't know how the other blurays compare, but it seems to be that this Scandinavian release by Nordisk Film contains DC footage. I will try to compare the rest later tonight or early tomorrow morning after my kid goes to bed and /or before he gets up and help you get to the bottom of this. I will again also be hitting the local trade shops and flea markets for the old Director's Cut DVD as I have seen at least one copy somewhere. All else fails, I have the local Finnish  "ebay" site to rely on. Stay tuned!

dark_jedi, I am currently downloading Jason Goes To Hell and wanted to ask you something... according to your upload, it says the movie was sourced from DVD/HDX/Other, Did you not use the R-Rated BD as source for most of the movie? Also, thanks very much for uploading it, a lot of us were waiting for it. I'll let you know my thoughts on it after I watch it.
