I don't care if someone wears a "choose life" t-shirt, that's their problem. But government should not sanction it on a license plate, anymore than they should give out pro-choice license plates.

if you really studied the Civil War, you'd know the reason it was so bloody wasn't because "nobody kills Americans better than Americans" The real reason was that the technology outgrew the tactics. At the beginning of the war they are fighting like they had fought previous wars. They stood right across the fields from each other and fired. But the weapons had advanced since the previous war. The guns became more accurate, longer range and more powerful, thus when combined with old tactics, massive casualties result. If you look near to the end of the war they were getting closer and closer to trench warfare style of combat.

Finally just to make clear to those that don't realize: The Confederate flag has flown on top of the SC state capital for over ten years. Some time ago in a compromise, it was moved from the top of the capital to a Civil War memorial on the grounds of the capital.

Have you maybe considered the possibility as to why Confederate flag is not sold by Amazon being related to marketing rather than to offensiveness? After all, being a redneck just isn't cool in civilised world. :)

You know what's funny about DrCrows sudden departure directly because of gay marriage being legalized in the US(... wtf.
